Few days ago one the patients came to my friend and after entering his cabin confirmed twice that he was a doctor. My friend first got surprised and then little angry. But later, he asked the patient why he was asking so. The patient told that in waiting area, he came acros various few young fellows (they were residents and young doctors) but did not believe that they were doctors from their appearance and preferred to wait for a senior doctor.

My friend explained the patient that most of these residents work very long hours and choose to wear comfortable attire like jeans and t-shirt. But the patient did not seem to be convinced. He said that “If the doctors are wearing jeans in the hospitals that are sometimes not even washed for months, is it right?” Later, me and my friend, we both agreed that it was a valid point.
