Today I performed 30 Laparoscopic tubectomy operations in a camp organised in Jodhpur. Rajasthan. Now the whole uterus can be removed through Laparoscope, still, in medical college, they are still manually opening abdomen just to ligate tubes. (Traditional Tubectomy) How much trauma a lady is facing. Fresh MS (gynae) degree holders are saying that they never touched Laparoscope. Its very funny and pity situation.
Now the time has come that whole of syllabus of PG should be revised. Training of Laparoscopy surgery must be made compulsory for all, right from prof. (HOD) to house surgeon. At least TT should be banned immediately. Hope every Doctor agrees with me. What is your opinion?
