Recently, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration cleared a new noninvasive stereotactic radiotherapy system indicated for use in treating cancer in breast tissue. This new system will provide greater accuracy in delivering radiation therapy to breast tumours while saving surrounding breast tissue.
