Peritoneal carcinomatosis (PC) of the abdominal cavity is the second most common presentation of colon cancer distant metastasis. Recently, reports suggest that cytoreductive surgery combined with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy along with some other options prolongs the life of colon cancer PC patients. As a result, this article outlines clinical presentation and existing treatment options for colon cancer PC.
