I have 61YOM patient with recurrent C. difficile colitis. For the initial infection I started him on oral vancomycin and daptomycin after cholecystectomy. But there is no improvement and he continues to have diarrhoea.
He also had leukocytosis and lactic acidosis with acute kidney injury. There is also a history of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Colonoscopy shows patchy erythema- I have attached the image. Can anyone suggest the treatment I could provide further?
