The US FDA has approved the first generic liraglutide injection to improve glycemic control in adults and pediatric patients aged ten years and older with type 2 diabetes. Clinical evidence Liraglutide has been proven to significantly reduce HbA1c levels in adult (n = 746) and pediatric (n = 134) type 2 diabetes patients at weeks 52 and 26, respectively.
