Case presentation A 79-year-old male presented to the clinic for his initial primary care visit. History Past medical history - hypertension, type 2 diabetes, osteoarthritis of the knee and hip, and mild cognitive impairment. Medications- lisinopril, amlodipine, acetaminophen, naproxen, atorvastatin, and aspirin. His previous physician stopped diabetic medicines some time ago, because he was losing weight gradually.
No history of cardiovascular events. Two mechanical falls in the past month. Vitals Blood pressure - 156/90 mm Hg Pulse – 75/ minute What would you do with his statin now?
