Case presentation A 55-year-old male goes to a dental office for a regular check-up. The dentist observes several small papules on his posterior hard palate. History Asking the patient about the occurrence of the multiple papules, the patient says that he was oblivious of them as there was no pain. The patient has no history of trauma or thermal injury. After asking in depth about the patient’s social life, he confessed to a 12-year history of pipe-smoking. The patient's past dental check-ups were routine examinations and restorative treatment.
