Children and infants often swallow objects while playing. These may either pass through uneventfully or may lead to life-threatening complications. It is essential that such patients are thoroughly evaluated and promptly managed. This case focuses on the diagnosis and management of such cases. Case presentation A one-year-old female was presented to the pediatrician in the emergency department of a hospital.
