Case presentation A 41-year-old male reported to the otorhinolaryngology department with recurrent episodes of throat discomfort for six months. The discomfort was not associated with voice change, shortness of breath, cough, or dysphagia. Also, there was no report of coughing, wheezing, weight loss, chest pain, fever, or previous pulmonary infection. The patient was a non-smoker with no occupational exposure to allergens or pollutants.
Examination The general examination, clinical examination (oral cavity, larynx, and neck), and hematological examination were unremarkable. Radiological findings A contrast-enhanced CT scan of the neck revealed dilated trachea and multiple tracheal diverticuli.
