A 19-year-old boy presented to the hospital with a 3-day history of a sore on his penis. He denied urinary frequency, changes in urine appearance, or penile discharge. He was sexually active and infrequently used condoms. PMH : None Examination His examination is normal, other than a shallow, nontender ulcer of 1 cm in diameter on the dorsal aspect of the penile shaft. There was no lesion discharge or bleeding, but slight induration around the ulcer was noted.
His urinalysis was normal. What is the likely diagnosis? (Answer is posted in the comment section below!) *This case is from the Docplexus editorial team for educative purposes only. Source: Case Files Pediatrics.
