Case presentation: A 58-year-old male presented to the emergency department with a five-hour history of generalized stomach pain. Other symptoms included nausea, shortness of breath, chest pain, and palpitations. The patient experienced discomfort in the lower right part of his body. The magnitude of the discomfort was 9/10 without radiation. Social history: The patient had a history of chronic smoking. Physical examination: Clinical examination showed tender palpation in the lower right quadrant.
Pulmonary clarity and percussion were evident. Radiological investigations: A mass was observed in the longitudinal portion of the base of the right lung. The mass had venous drainage into the right pulmonary vein. Dimensions of the mass were approximately 6.7 cm - 3.7 cm transverse.
