Case presentation A 60-year-old male presented to the doctor with an abdominal aortic aneurysm and liver and kidney masses. He was admitted for a liver and kidney transplant. He had a previous history of thoracic aortic aneurysm. Microscopic examination: Liver sections showed extensive cyst formation affecting more than 90% of the liver parenchyma. The liver tissue showed a variety of changes varying from atrophy to hemorrhage.
Epithelium-lined cysts were observed in the kidney. Ruptured cysts leading to hemorrhagic necrosis, calcification and fibrosis were observed.
