Case presentation A 4-year-old boy was presented to the ophthalmologist with a year-old history of enlarging white deposits in both eyes. The patient also complained about decreasing night vision in the last few months. On physical examination, the patient appeared pale with hypopigmented hair. The boy was malnourished, weighing 10.5 kg (Z-score less than -3), and had a height of 92 cm (Z-score less than -2.8).
