Case presentation A 6-year-old boy with complaints of decreased vision in his left eye was referred to a local optometrist. The boy’s mother informed that he had normal growth and development and that she did not notice any vision problem in her child. Medical (including ocular) history:  None Medication history:  None Follow-up Since the boy’s vision and stereoacuity remained stable over the next two years, his mother discontinued the use of glasses on her own.

At 9 years, he had a minute decline in stereoacuity consistent with the discontinuation of his glasses, and the following observations were made.
