The American Diabetes Association (ADA) and the American Heart Association (AHA) announced a new partnership to raise awareness about the increased risk for cardiovascular disease for those living with type 2 diabetes. Cardiovascular disease is the leading cause of death and a major cause of heart attacks, strokes, and disability for people living with type 2 diabetes.
