Case presentation A 61-year-old man presented with a one-day history of epigastric pain that radiated to the back. History The patient had suffered from small cell lung cancer with brain, adrenal, and osseous metastases. He was undergoing treatment with a biweekly dose of nivolumab for the past forty days. Investigations At the presentation, the patient’s lipase levels were 2700 U/L. The abdominal computed tomography findings revealed focal and diffused enlargement of the pancreas with heterogeneous enhancement.
The chest computed tomography findings revealed bilateral, predominantly peripheral, and asymmetrical consolidation with air bronchograms. A magnetic resonance cholangiopancreatography revealed patchy girdle-shaped hyperintensity on T1-weighted images with fat suppression. Complex peripancreatic fluid collections were observed.
