A 64-year-old woman, diagnosed with Crohn’s Disease (CD) seven years ago, reported with a chief complaint of abdominal cramping and watery diarrhea since the last two weeks. A large polypoid mass at the ascending colon with partial colonic obstruction was identified five years back. She made considerable improvement after being managed with corticosteroids and immunosuppressants. The dose of immunosuppressants was increased eight weeks, however it only exacerbated her symptoms and eventually led to the present complaint.

Physical examination revealed : Body temperature: 38.6 °C Abdominal tenderness A palpable mass at the right lower abdominal quadrant.
