Synopsis Diabetes mellitus is known to be associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular events. Aspirin use reduces the risk of occlusive vascular events but in-turn increases the risk of bleeding. Thus, the present study evaluates the effect of aspirin in the prevention of vascular events in patients with T2DM.
