Post-operative pain is one of the major concerns and also major criteria for choosing surgical techniques. The choice between the open or endoscopic procedures greatly depends on the post-operative outcomes and duration of hospital stay. Many studies have evaluated the two techniques for the correction of carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS), which is a common peripheral nerve entrapment.
