In our series, I have noted double RCA in CAG of two patients which were not reported by the interventional cardiologists in their report for that patients. Our CAG cases are mostly around two thousand and I could find one rare anomaly out of this small series. Congenital anomalies of the coronary arteries are present in 0.2-1.4% of the general population. These anomalies represent one of the most confusing issues in the field of cardiology and challenges for interventional cardiologists and cardiac surgeons if the anomalies are unrecognized.
The double right coronary artery is a very rare coronary abnormality that is generally considered benign.
