A 58-year-old woman presented to the emergency department (ED) with a sudden onset of chest pain, and shortness of breath. She smokes 1 pack of cigarette/day. Examination Heart rate: 55 beats/minute ST-segment elevation: 3 mm on leads II, III and aVF Blood pressure: 130/70 mmHg Troponin levels: elevated Respiratory rate: 25 breaths/minute without labor Mild Jugular vein distention was observed. The lungs had minimum rales at both lung bases. The S 1 and S 2 sounds were normal without murmurs.
No S 3 and S 4 sounds were observed. No lower extremity edema was observed. She had no contraindications for anticoagulation therapy.
