A 39-year-old male patient presented with painful skin eruptions on the trunk and upper limbs, which he noticed two days after starting fluconazole. The skin lesions were diagnosed as drug-induced Stevens-Johnson Syndrome. The patient was subsequently found seropositive for Human immunodeficiency virus (HIV) with a CD4+ T cell count of 32 cells/cumm.
