When parents are working, children are either kept under grandparents care or with a nanny or at the daycare. Upbringing in the presence of grandparents is considered as the most reliable because children remain in the house environment. Additionally, it is observed that they learn empathy, care, and forgiveness from their grandparents. However, a recent study published in Plos One suggests that some of the habits of grandparents can be unhealthy for the kids.
