Case presentation A 16-year-old female presented with abdominal tenderness for seven days. She had no significant medical history and denied taking drugs, alcohol, or herbal agents. Physical examination Body temperature: 36.3 o C Arterial blood pressure: 120/70 mmHg Heart rate: 82/min The doctors suspected ascites in the abdominal region. No other abnormalities were noted.
