Case presentation A seven-month-old boy with a complaint of watery diarrhea 10 to 15 times a day was admitted to the emergency department. The patient had similar episodes several times in the past three months. He was born through uncomplicated delivery to non-consanguineous parents with no remarkable medical history and had two healthy older siblings. The symptoms increased when the infant’s diet was changed from formula food to solid food at the age of six months.

The patient’s development was normal, with no recurrent infections or poor feeding. The patient was completely immunized for his age and had no history of vomiting.
