Case presentation A 71-year-old man reported to a dental school with a persistent nodule in the maxilla. The patient noticed this nodule for the first time 15 years ago as a small painless mass after he started wearing a complete denture.

The mass has been progressive, and the patient has been wearing the maxillary denture, which was adapted to avoid the mass, using a denture adhesive.
