Laparoscopy has provided trauma surgeons with a valuable diagnostic and therapeutic option. Due to its minimally invasive nature, laparoscopic surgery presents an attractive alternative for many traumatologists to manage hemodynamically stable patients with blunt traumatic abdominal injuries.
