A 61 years old man with diagnosed Diabetes mellitus type 2, hypertension and thrombocytopenia with non-alcoholic cirrhosis. Patient has undergone CABG 9 months ago. On daily drug therapy, Metformin 2.5 gms, glimepiride 6 gms, pioglitazone 15 mg, Metoprolol SR 100 mg, telmisartan 80 mg, isosorbide nitrate SR 30 mg and Aspirin 150 mg. The patient noticed bleeding in the nose by putting a finger, no history of local injury in the nose, next morning, throat secretions were reddish.
Advise what should be the line of action? Whether any change in drug therapy or just further observations are required? Kindly share.
