Highlights Pooled results from two-year-long CEDAR and SEQUOIA clinical trials indicated the efficacy of abicipar (2 mg every 8 weeks) and 2 mg every 12 weeks in treating neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD). Abicipar 2 mg every 8 weeks and 2 mg every 12 weeks showed reduced incidences of intraocular inflammation (IOI) events in the second year, and the results were comparable with ranibizumab (0.8% and 2.3% vs. 1.0%).
