A 22-year-old male presented 2 days after a motor vehicle accident after a complaint of decreased vision in the right eye. History of Present Illness The patient fell asleep while driving his vehicle. He was not wearing a seat belt. He was taken to the emergency treatment center where he was noted to have several back contusions, a laceration on the left elbow, and a bruise on his forehead. Computerized tomography (CT) of the head was negative for fracture or intracranial bleed. Approximately 1 hour after leaving from the center, he noticed vision loss.
Ocular History No previous ocular disease history. No eye surgery, no previous eye nor head trauma. Medical History No other health issues.
