Introduction Lung cancer is one of the most common cancers among both sexes. International Agency for Research on Cancer reported 2 million new lung cancer cases in 2018, accounting for 11.6% of all cancers. 1 The global mortality rate of lung cancer was 18.4% of all cancer deaths. Asia had the highest lung cancer incidence rate (58.5%), followed by Europe (22.4%) and North America (12.1%). 2 This article focuses on the difference in lung cancer in females and males and sheds light on the emerging trends in female lung cancer.
