Came accross a 45 yr old patient who came in for a regular health check.diagnosed with syringomyelia in 2001.underwent three surgeries since then Decompression Shunting Filum terminale surgery Currently has increased weakness of his hands to extent he can't hold a pen. Experiences extreme pain in lower extremities nape of neck and hands.glove and stocking type. His father had same c/f at age 55. For him started at 45. He has a son and a daughter.

Lower limb power wnl Upper limb power grade 4 and 5 What tests should he currently undergo for regular follow up? He wants to get tests done for his son as well who is 15.
