Case presentation A 32-year-old man visited the hospital with the chief complaint of painful erections. Medical history A painful cord-like swelling developed on the dorsal aspect of the penis over the past ten days. Pain aggravated during erection No history of trauma, vigorous sex, or use of a constrictor device No history of fever or symptoms of a urinary tract infection Medical examination Physical examination: Healthy male Penis gross findings: Dorsal cord-like swelling extending from the pubic symphysis to mid-shaft, painful on palpation (Figure 1) Hematological and genitourinary examination detected no abnormality.
