Physicians have a critical role in the prompt reporting of communicable diseases and can make the difference between disease control and an outbreak. However, communicable disease reporting and surveillance system has poor infrastructure and supporters in most of countries. Most often this can be the only cause of outbreak of deadly diseases from such countries due to delay in reporting.
