A 20-year-old unmarried lady came to the OPD with presenting complaints (informant- elder sister) of eating chalk pencils and plaster particles taken off from the walls of the room for last 8 years. For last 15 days, she had a fight over her behavior with her mother and she stopped taking these substances but instead resorted to viewing youtube videos depicting people consuming chalk and other inedible things. She is reported to be intovert with less number of friends (she reports to have a close friend though).
