A 19-year-old male patient comes to a psychiatrist carrying a referral from his family doctor. Upon talking with him for a while, the psychiatrist understands that he is a conscious and an active teenager with an immense interest in sports. Upon asking him further questions about his health, he reports that he was recently seeking medical attention from a sports medicine physician as he had twisted his wrist while playing basketball. The psychiatrist looks at his arm and sees no swelling.

He then later checks the person's medical records and finds the result of his physical examination to be normal and ordinary. However, it comes to his attention that the patient has been to multiple doctors for the treatment of his “twisted wrist” since last five months.
