A rare case of jejunal adenocarcinoma in a 76-year-old woman has drawn attention to the role of multidisciplinary planning in managing advanced small bowel cancers with limited metastatic spread. The patient sought medical care after experiencing persistent weakness, abdominal discomfort, repeated vomiting, and a syncopal episode. Investigations revealed severe anemia caused by ongoing gastrointestinal blood loss, necessitating multiple blood transfusions.
Subsequent PET CT imaging identified a tumor at the duodenojejunal junction that was partially obstructing the bowel and extending into the adjacent colon. Two small liver lesions were also detected.
