This happened 10-15 years back. A lady then aged 55 years having diabetes mellitus which was poorly controlled,with a leprotic lesion in the chin, was on glipizide and dapsone for about a year. She suddenly had severe vertigo with respiratory distress, so much so that she had a fall from bed and had a fracture in leg. She was admitted in Hospital and all sorts of examinations including MRI scan was done and only notable findings are: slight hypothyroidism and lowered o2 saturation level.

Oxygen inhalation continued, but the respiratory distress and lowered oxygen saturation of 52 persisted when all other parameters became normal.
