Medications can do wonderful things, from fighting infection to preventing stroke and warding off depression. But being an integral part of health care treatment, they are mostly very expensive. Here, I would like to share an experience which my friend encountered about two weeks ago.He visited his physician for hypertension and type-2 diabetes. Over the past year, however, both his hypertension and diabetes have been sliding out of control. Until recently, he was able to control both with some of the newer medications prescribed for these diseases.
The physician added some more new medications to him. To his surprise, he was shocked to see the cost of prescribed medications.
