A 39-year-old female was rushed to the ED from her workplace with complaints of a severe occipital headache and vomiting. According to the woman, that was the 'worst headache of her life', and consuming 200 mg of ibuprofen did not help to ameliorate the pain. She further reported that she started feeling the headache suddenly after a ‘stressful situation’ at work.

Two days prior to the ED visit, she developed a headache of similar intensity, but it subsided after a few seconds.
