Synopsis: A vulvar dermatosis is a group of skin infections, including psoriasis, lichen sclerosis, lichen simplex chronicus, and lichen simplex. The presenting symptoms include itching, burning sensation, skin rash, pain, and vulvodynia. Diagnosis of vulvar infections is usually based on clinical morphology and is mostly complicated by a differential diagnosis of dermatophyte infections, contact dermatitis, vulvovaginal candidiasis, Paget’s disease, etc. What was the need for the study?
