Case presentation A 15-yr-old boy was reported to the emergency department with neck and chest pain. Medical history Sudden sharp pain in the neck radiating to the chest appeared during brisk running.

Pain accompanied by shortness of breath and nausea, but no dysphagia or dysphonia.
