Case Presentation A 70-year-old male presented to the cardiology clinic with anterior chest pain. Initial cardiac evaluation, including electrocardiogram and serum troponin, was within normal limits. However, a chest X-ray revealed mediastinal widening, prompting further investigation.
Imaging Findings CT Scan: Revealed a lobulated, irregularly marginated anterior mediastinal mass measuring 7.5 × 2.9 × 4.6 cm, inseparable from the pericardium with focal obliteration of fat planes adjacent to the ascending aorta (Figure 1) PET/CT: Demonstrated increased F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake with an SUVmax of 5.91, suggesting a metabolically active lesion. No evidence of distant metastasis or additional abnormal uptake was noted.
