What are Vector based  DNA vaccines? Generally vaccines which utilize vectors such as bacteriophages to deliver DNA segments into the host DNA. The delivered DNA segment integrates with the host DNA and encodes for the target protein. The target protein induces a protective process by generating the necessary antibodies. DNA vaccines induce  mutation after the integration of the  DNA into the host? Yes it does. The concept is controversial.
