A 4-year-old girl presented with complaints of stomach pain and bouts of vomiting. The abdomen pain was progressive, extreme, and concentrated in the umbilical region, radiating to the lower abdomen. She had three episodes of vomiting containing food material. Round, white roundworms, around 5 cm long, were excreted from the nose. The child had moderate constipation, going around strong stool pellets. She also registered a low-grade on and off fever. Other machine tests were unremarkable. She did not have a chronic medical condition and was negative for HIV/AIDS.
Within the past 18 months, the patient had only been dewormed once. Diagnostics Ultrasound revealed a round mass in the iliac region. Chest radiography turned out to be normal. Surgical Intervention Laparotomy was performed in the ileum at the distal part. The depth was 2.5 cm. Roundworms were extracted manually. On average,โฆ
