A 29-year-old pregnant woman (gestational age 34 weeks) was presented with diffused acute abdominal pain and vomiting. The pain was in the periumbilical region and aggravated within a few hours following admission. The patient’s initial surgical evaluation, gynecologic examination, and ultrasonography were non-contributory. On the subsequent day, the abdominal pain and vomiting persisted, and the patient's blood leukocyte count elevated.

Diffuse abdominal tenderness was noted on physical examination. The patient underwent a contrast-enhanced abdominopelvic computed tomography (Image attached for reference).
