Glucose monitoring has always been a very important aspect of assessing the management of diabetes. Although continuous glucose monitoring system (CGMS) and self-glucose monitoring systems (SGMS) have been trusted all these years, the long term use of self-monitoring and laboratory tests turn up to be an economic burden on patients. Another fact that cannot be ignored is that these systems lag behind as far as the production of unbiased or huge data is concerned.
