A 59-year-old female presented with the complaints of chest pain and cough. Past history: Well regulated type 2 DM. No history of TB or other lung diseases. Physical examination: No abnormality detected. Laboratory investigations: No abnormality detected.
Investigations: CT chest: Pulmonary nodules with regular margins and lobulated contours scattered throughout both lungs, the largest measuring 14 × 12 mm in size located in the laterobasal segment of the lower lobe, suggesting metastatic lung disease. PET-CT Scan: No significant fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG) uptake in the multiple parenchymal and subpleural nodules. Transthoracic Nodule Biopsy of left lung: No malignancy detected. Video-assisted transthoracic surgery: A shrunken lesion in the posterolateral segment of the right lower lung was removed.
