Case presentation A 51-year-old presented with multiple episodes of “pressure-like chest pain” from which he had suffered for the last two days. He had no past medical history. Episodes of pain lasted for 20 mins approximately and were associated with physical exertions and palpitations. The patient quit smoking 20 years back. Physical examination: Temperature - 98.1°F Blood pressure - 153/95 mmHg Heart rate - 73/min regular Respiratory rate - 18/min An electrocardiogram (ECG) report has been provided.
The patient was advised of emergent cardiac catheterization. Coronary angiography revealed normal left circumflex, left main, and right coronary arteries.
